Jazeera Airways boosts regional connectivity with Beirut return, Amman frequency increase

Jazeera Airways has announced the resumption of its commercial flights to and from Beirut, operating via King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The service will operate twice weekly starting April 25, marking an important step in restoring regional air connectivity under current operational arrangements.

The company’s CEO, Barathan Pasupathi, told Kuwait News Agency that Jazeera Airways has also increased its flights to Amman from one to two flights per week. He said the move aims to provide passengers with greater flexibility and improved travel options between Kuwait and Jordan.

Pasupathi emphasized that restoring the Beirut route and expanding Amman operations reflects the airline’s ongoing commitment to maintaining Kuwait’s regional connectivity during an exceptional period in the region.

He added that both Beirut and Amman remain key destinations for travelers returning home, visiting families, and supporting essential regional mobility and supply chain continuity.

He further explained that these operational adjustments are part of the airline’s broader strategy to expand its network and sustain connectivity by utilizing alternative regional hubs, including Al-Qaisumah and Dammam airports in Saudi Arabia.

In a related development, the Lebanese Ambassador to Kuwait, Ghadi Khoury, welcomed the announcement, stating that the resumption of flights between Kuwait and Beirut via Dammam under these circumstances is a positive step for the Lebanese community in Kuwait and for those with strong ties between the two countries.

He added that restoring air links to Beirut will help reconnect families and strengthen humanitarian and social ties, expressing appreciation for Jazeera Airways’ efforts in reactivating this important route.

Passengers can book tickets through the Jazeera Airways website, its mobile application, or by contacting customer service at 177 within Kuwait or +965 2205 4944 from abroad.
