Crisis management in spotlight, BBF Kuwait focuses on planning for worst
The British Business Forum Kuwait (BBF) hosted its August monthly networking meeting in the British Embassy Atrium suite, bringing together members of the business community and guests for an evening dedicated to increasing awareness on Crisis Management.
Colin Brown, Risk and Security Specialist delivered the keynote presentation followed by a Q&A session on “Planning for a Crisis: Expecting the Worst”.
The sold-out event was attended by many new faces – including representatives of British companies recently arrived in Kuwait – NATS and Peregrine Risk Management, long-standing BBF members and members of the local business community including Mr. Ahmed Behbehani and also attendees from Mott MacDonald, Obermeyer, Wood, KOC and Alghanim.
Patrick Jones, Chairman of BBF, thanked His Excellency the British Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, HE Qudsi Rasheed and the British Embassy Events team for enabling BBF to host the event, and Colin Brown for again delivering an excellent presentation on a subject which is front of mind for many in the region.
He also expressed gratitude to all attending and contributing to the success of the evening, which featured great networking, meaningful conversations, and thanked the evening’s sponsors.
