Police looking for suspect who assaulted, robbed young woman

The Ministry of Interior is investigating an incident of an unidentified young bedoun woman who claimed she was assaulted and robbed by her assailant.

After the MOI received a report police patrol rushed to the spot and found the woman in by the roadside and was taken to a hospital in an ambulance.

In her statement, the victim gave police only the first name of the suspect and the description of his person. She added, she was physically assaulted and the suspect stole her bag and a mobile phone. A case has been registered at Khaitan Police Station as investigations continue.
