Court jails ISIS-linked accused to 10 years in State Security case

The State Security and Terrorism Crimes Department of the Kuwaiti Criminal Court has sentenced an unidentified accused to 10 years in prison with hard labor after finding him guilty of joining the so-called ISIS organization.
According to case details, investigations conducted by a State Security officer confirmed that the accused was involved in activities deemed to undermine internal state security and maintained links with a legally prohibited organization, in violation of Kuwait’s public security laws and regulations.
The court ruling reflects the judiciary’s continued strict approach toward terrorism-related offenses and cases involving affiliation with banned groups that threaten national stability and security.
