Shift to a sustainable lifestyle

A seminar on the importance of a sustainable and healthy lifestyle was held via Zoom by the Pakistan Women’s Forum, Kuwait. The seminar was delivered by WEE Founder Mrs. Heba Al Farra & Environmental Scientist Arhum Mustafa. Madam Rima Khalidi (Wife of the Ambassador of Palestine) was the chief guest of the event.

Mrs. Heba Al Farra spoke about how we are damaging the Earth with the choices that we make in our everyday life and how this is a very important time for us to make a conscious effort to make changes which are sustainable and save our planet and its beauty. Amongst many other ways that we are damaging our planet, she spoke about the harmful effects the use of plastic in our daily life has without us realizing it and gave the audience many alternatives on how they can try and make their life as plastic free as possible.

Mr Arhum Mustafa, an environmental scientist residing in South Africa, also explained in detail how our daily routine is impacting the environment and how this is affecting and polluting our planet. He helped make suggestions on how we should adopt a sustainable living style that would help to reduce our carbon footprint by changing our methods of transportation, energy consumption, and diet.

The chief guest, Madam Rima Khalid delivered a brief speech on sustainable lifestyle. 

In the end, Mrs. Ambreen Mustafa (Wife of HE Ambassador of Pakistan to Kuwait) & PWF Patron–in–chief, thanked the keynote speakers and audience for attending the session. She ended the workshop by asking everyone to adapt a healthy and sustainable lifestyle to help save our planet as this is the best gift that we can give to our next generation. 

At the end, Q/A Session was held and a token of appreciation was presented to speakers.
