The Guest Show this Thursday, will feature Vidhu Menon, the Co-founder of Rudy A Menon Foundation, a charity based & registered in the United Kingdom that works towards funding research on Gliomatosis Cerebri (GC) and other rare and inoperable brain cancers.

Vidhu lost her son, Rudy, a young, vibrant man of 26, to GC in 2013. To celebrate his spirit of giving, keep his memory alive, and prevent families from suffering a similar loss of their loved ones, Vidhu took up the herculean task of establishing a charity that actively participates in and funds the research of deadly and understudied cancer.

At present, the Foundation supports the research of  Shauna Crampsie, a Ph.D. student dedicated to the study of GC at the Institute of Cancer Research London, UK, under Prof Chris Jones. Crampsie’s project is an international collaboration that brings together resources and knowledge from research organisations around the world.

On The Guest Show, Thursday, Vidhu shares Rudy’s story, her memories of him, and traces the Foundation’s journey and its pioneering work at the cutting edge of cancer treatment. The Institute of Cancer Research.
