This week on Thursday, June 24, ‘The Guest Show’ on Radio Kuwait presents the remarkable Noelle Al Yaqout.

Noelle is a very special woman who has touched the lives of many differently-abled children in Kuwait. Born in Switzerland, Noelle arrived in the country with her Kuwaiti husband. She began her career as a scientific illustrator at Kuwait University where she worked for more than two decades.

Passionate about horses from her childhood, Noelle took up horse riding at the  Hunting & Equestrian Club on the Sixth Ring Road. Soon she became an expert horsewoman. Willing to share her love for horses with others, she began a unique riding program for autistic children which ran from 2003-2020. Throughout her journey as an equine therapist, Noelle touched many lives by empowering them.  One of her specially-abled children, went on to become a champion.

On The Guest SHow, Noelle looks back at her life in Switzerland, her early years in Kuwait, her years as an illustrator when she captured on paper Kuwait’s flora and fauna, about her magic horse ‘Ginelli’, and her new horse ‘Masahallah’, a racehorse who refuses to race, about her award-winning experience at endurance racing and about her life as an artist.
