Indian Cultural Society presented “Bol Na Halke Halke” on Friday, 3rd February, during which renowned playback singers and performers mesmerized the Live Concert.

The concert began by the National Anthem of both the countries, Kuwait & India, followed by Kuwait’s own talented children performance from The Dancing Divas of Jyoti Patel.

The event was blessed and the Souvenir was released in the presence of all of our esteemed guests and sponsors. They also spoke of the flourishing Indo-Kuwait friendship, cultural exchange, and contribution of India to the world, further appreciating efforts of ICS to promote art and culture along with the campaign for “Noble Cause & Welfare Services”.

Square Yards & Katch delivery system gave a brief introduction about their work and activities in Kuwait.

ICS gave their tribute to the late standup comedian & actor, Raju Shrivastava. His younger brother, Dipoo Shrivastava, illuminated the auditorium with his hilarious jokes.

Followed by the award-winning Mahalakashmi Iyer & Shrirm Iyer performance with their songs and the audience welcomed them with enormous cheers as they started singing their hit collections. Both the singers mesmerized an enthusiastic jam packed crowd for about 3 hours.

Mahalaxmi Iyer lent her voice for AR Rahman’s Jai Ho, for the film Slumdog- Millionaire, an Oscar winning song to her credit. Also, blockbuster films like Bunty Aur Babli, Dhoom 2, Fanaa, and Salaam Namaste have her melodious voice in them. Mahalaxmi is known for her performances in songs like Kabhi Sham Dhale (Sur – The Melody of Life), Har Taraf (Rishtey), Chup Chup Ke (Bunty Aur Babli), Bol Na Halke Halke film (Jhoom Barabar Jhoom), Aaj Ki Raat (Don- The Chase Begins Again) and Des Rangeela.

The president of ICS expressed his gratitude to all the executives of ICS, Volunteers, Supporters, Techno staff, Media & Press wings.

ICS is a social non-profit organization whose mission is to provide quality entertainment to the audience of Kuwait and give them the feeling of experiencing “home away from home” by means of entertainment. In addition to that, the year 2021-22 was earmarked as a support to Indian network and a link to our rich Indian culture, through the promotion and import of exclusive Indian events such as plays, music, art, and classical performances.
