Municipality lifts 27 abandoned cars, scrap materials, and boats violating regulations

The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality announced that field teams from the Public Hygiene and Road Occupation Departments will continue to step up inspection tours across all governorates.

The aim is to monitor compliance with municipal hygiene and road occupancy regulations and strengthen the oversight role of regulatory bodies in enforcing municipal laws.

During the tours, 27 abandoned cars, scrap materials, and boats violating municipal regulations were removed. Additionally, 40 violations related to public cleanliness and road occupancy were recorded, reflecting ongoing enforcement efforts.

Authorities also directed the placement of 38 removal stickers on abandoned vehicles and non-compliant commercial containers, signaling an active approach to correcting infractions.

The inspection teams further replaced 20 old waste containers with new ones to improve sanitation and waste management infrastructure.
The Municipality emphasized that such proactive measures aim not only to maintain public cleanliness but also to ensure that roadways and communal spaces remain safe and accessible for residents.

Officials reiterated that these operations form part of a broader municipal strategy to uphold hygiene standards and regulate the occupation of public roads, reinforcing the importance of compliance with the law.

Through these intensified tours, Kuwait Municipality seeks to foster a cleaner, more organized, and law-abiding environment across all its governorates.

In a statement, the department highlighted the efforts of the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate branch, where extensive inspections were carried out in residential areas to enhance cleanliness and public order. Teams focused on removing obstacles that block roads, distort the public view, and prevent proper disposal of waste outside containers.
