Kuwait Intercepts Seven Hostile Ballistic Missiles; No Casualties Reported

Kuwait’s armed forces detected and successfully intercepted seven hostile ballistic missiles within the country’s airspace during the early hours of Saturday, according to the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi.

Al-Otaibi said the missiles were intercepted over several residential areas, resulting in the fall of debris in some locations. The attacks, described as part of a “criminal Iranian aggression,” caused material damage but resulted in no human casualties.

He affirmed that the Kuwaiti armed forces continue to carry out their duties and responsibilities with efficiency and professionalism, maintaining a high level of readiness and constant preparedness to safeguard the nation’s security and protect the safety of citizens and residents.

The Ministry of Defense reiterated its commitment to preserving national security and responding to any threats in coordination with the relevant authorities.
