Ministry’s new awareness booth to safeguard consumer rights

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has launched an ‘awareness booth’ at the Capital complex as part of its campaign, ‘Awareness Protects Your Rights, Responsibility Enhances Your Trade.’ The booth will be open daily until Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Al Anbanewspaper reported.
The ministry added that the booth provides direct advice on consumer rights and merchants’ obligations, as well as comprehensive information on trade laws and regulations that protect everyone’s rights. It also offers an opportunity to address inquiries related to business processes and safe purchasing.
The campaign aims to raise awareness among citizens and residents about their consumer rights and encourage business license holders to fulfill their responsibilities, ensuring a fair and transparent business environment.
The ministry invites the public to take advantage of this opportunity, emphasizing that awareness helps build trust among both consumers and traders.
