PAHW pavilion at Avenues Mall promotes e-services and accessibility

The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) has inaugurated an interactive informational pavilion at The Avenues Mall, aiming to raise awareness among citizens about its digital services and provide updates on current housing projects and their progress.
In a press release, the Authority stated that the pavilion—open until next Thursday—serves as a direct communication channel with the public. It highlights new features, most notably a video communication service tailored for elderly citizens and individuals with severe disabilities.
This innovative service enables users to complete transactions remotely via audio and video calls, eliminating the need for in-person visits and significantly reducing time and effort, reports Al-Rai daily.
The initiative aligns with PAHW’s broader strategy to make its services more accessible, especially to vulnerable groups. The new video system is part of a wider digital transformation aimed at delivering a seamless and inclusive customer experience.
PAHW emphasized that this outreach initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen citizen engagement. Through the pavilion, staff offer guidance on how to effectively use PAHW’s services via the official website, the government’s unified “Sahel” application, and dedicated telephone hotlines. Visitors can also have their queries about housing entitlements and application procedures addressed on the spot.
The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to streamlining administrative procedures and enhancing service efficiency. Notably, PAHW is among the leading government entities in adopting comprehensive digital platforms.
Its integration into the “Sahel” app currently includes 30 digital housing services, offering citizens a wide range of online options to manage their housing needs.
The pavilion at The Avenues represents a practical step toward improving transparency, user support, and accessibility—ensuring that all citizens, regardless of age or ability, can benefit from Kuwait’s housing initiatives.
