‘Kuwait’s Criminal Court’ imposes prison sentences on citizen and expatriate for ISIS links

The Criminal Court, presided over by Counselor Nasser Al-Badr, sentenced a citizen and an expatriate “juveniles” to imprisonment for their involvement in ISIS.

The citizen was sentenced to five years in prison, while the expatriate received a two-year and six-month sentence, along with a work and access penalty. The expatriate will also be deported from the country.

The Public Prosecution charged the two individuals with joining ISIS, encouraging others to join the organization via social media, and creating websites to promote its ideology. They were apprehended by the state security apparatus.
