“Al-Yousef” praises valuable contribution of Kuwaiti women in military
Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef visited the Women's Police Institute, praising Kuwaiti women's role in national security and emphasizing the ministry's commitment to empowering them.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, paid a visit to the Women’s Police Institute this today, Monday morning.
Al-Yousef, while on his visit to the Institute, he inspected key facilities such as the gym, dormitories, classrooms, restaurant, field, and linguistic laboratory. He reviewed the institute’s various facilities and monitored the progress of the educational programs and military exercises.
Moreover, Al-Yousef engaged in a dialogue with the students, listening to their opinions and observations. He expressed pride in the determination and efficiency of the Kuwaiti women, highlighting their vital role in various sectors of the security institution, and encouraged them to continue their efforts and contributions to enhance the quality of security work.
Al-Yousef emphasized the significant role of Kuwaiti women in the military corps, noting that they have consistently proven their capability to handle military responsibilities with efficiency and professionalism, whether in the field, administrative, or technical areas.
Furthermore, Al-Yousef underscored the importance of developing the education and training environment within the security institution to align with technological and digital advancements.
Al-Yousef highlighted the need to leverage modern science to refine the skills of the institute’s graduates, emphasizing that such development will enhance their effective participation in supporting national security and addressing security-related issues.
At the end of the visit, Al-Yousef received a detailed briefing on the establishment of the Women’s Police Institute, its competencies, participations, and future aspirations. He also learned about the institute’s achievements in developing and qualifying female personnel to serve national security. H. E. Al-Yousef reiterated the ministry’s ongoing support to further strengthen the role of women within the security institution.
Al-Yousef was warmly received by Major General Fawaz Al-Khaled, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Education and Training Affairs; Major General Ali Al-Wahib, Director General of Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences; Colonel Iman Boland, Director of the Women’s Police Institute; Colonel Adhari Al-Safi, Assistant Director of the Women’s Police Institute; along with several leaders from the education and training sector.
