Kuwaitis eligible for visa-free travel to Iran twice a year

The Iranian Ambassador to Kuwait, His Excellency Mohammad Totonji, affirmed that there are no changes to the visa regulations for Kuwaiti citizens.
In a statement to Al-Jarida, Ambassador Totonji clarified that Kuwaiti citizens can visit Tehran twice a year without a visa, provided their stay does not exceed 15 days, and no fees are required.
Ambassador Totonji added that if a Kuwaiti citizen wishes to stay in Iran for a longer period, such as during the summer or any time of the year, a multiple-entry visa from the Iranian embassy is required.
Furthermore, Ambassador Totonji stated that a Kuwaiti citizen staying in Iran for a month must pay a visa fee of 15 dinars, while a one-year long-term visa costs 90 dinars.
Ambassador Totonji also encouraged Kuwaitis to visit Iran, describing it as their second home, and explore its cities, heritage, and culture.
