Kuwait Municipality announces advertising revenue increase of 5.36 million dinars in 6 months

The Kuwait Municipality announced on Tuesday that their revenue from issuing advertising licenses electronically increased by six times the annual revenues of last year.

The Director of the Information Systems Department at Kuwait Municipality, Dr. Fayez Al-Otaibi, said in a press statement that advertising license revenues between August 13, 2024, and December 8 amounted to 5,361,854 dinars, in just six months, compared to 807,253,976 dinars during the same period last year, from August 13, 2023, to August 18, 2024.

Al-Otaibi explained that the Kuwait Municipality has made significant progress in developing systems in line with the Cabinet’s decisions to enhance electronic services through continuous cooperation and coordination with the Kuwait Investment Promotion Authority and the World Bank.

Moreover, Al-Otaibi added that the development achieved by the municipality has contributed to reducing the document cycle for issuing advertising licenses electronically in line with Kuwait Municipality’s systems.
