Drone attacks hit Kuwait International Airport, radar system severely damaged
No casualties reported

Spokesperson for Kuwait’s Public Authority for Civil Aviation, Abdullah Al-Rajhi, announced that Kuwait International Airport was targeted by several drone attacks, resulting in no casualties and only limited physical damage.
In a statement to Kuwait News Agency today (Saturday), he noted that the incident caused significant damage to the airport’s radar system.
Al-Rajhi added that emergency teams and relevant authorities responded immediately, taking necessary measures to assess the situation, ensure the safety of operations, and restore full operational readiness as quickly as possible.
He affirmed the Authority’s full commitment, in coordination with concerned authorities, to take all necessary steps to safeguard the security and safety of civil aviation in the State of Kuwait.
