Islamabad to convene key regional meeting March 29-30 on de-escalation efforts

Diplomatic push intensifies as Pakistan announces quartet talks on Middle East crisis; to host four-way talks with Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt to ease Middle East tensions

Pakistan announced that the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt will visit Islamabad for a four-way meeting aimed at advancing diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the conflict in the Middle East.

According to a statement from the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks will take place on March 29 and 30, bringing together the four countries for “in-depth discussions” on a range of issues, with a particular focus on easing regional tensions and supporting efforts toward a political settlement.
