Kuwait’s Ambassador to Brussels, HE Nawaf Al-Enezi, has underscored the significance of the upcoming visit by a Belgian trade delegation to Kuwait, noting its vital role in strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for cooperation on development projects aligned with Kuwait’s Vision 2035.
Speaking to KUNA, Ambassador Al-Enezi explained that the visit scheduled for April 28 to 30, was coordinated in collaboration with key economic entities across Belgium’s main regions, the Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA).
He recalled how the previous Belgian trade delegation visit in 2019 marked a major step forward in economic collaboration between the two countries, with discussions on partnership and investment opportunities.
The success of that visit, he noted, is evident in the expansion of this year’s delegation, which includes over 40 companies specializing in sectors such as cybersecurity, renewable energy, sustainable development, healthcare, and construction, along with participants from the Duchy of Luxembourg.
During the visit, the delegation will hold meetings with more than 10 Kuwaiti government institutions and agencies, as well as several representatives from the private sector, reflecting the deepening economic and investment ties between Kuwait and Belgium.
