Brig. Al-Atiqi leads mobile radar traffic campaign
156 traffic violations recorded; wanted man nabbed; intensive road safety campaigns to continue across Kuwait
The Highways Patrol Sector affiliated to the General Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior, conducted a field traffic campaign on Friday, using mobile radar devices under the supervision of Brigadier Abdullah Al-Atiqi, Head of the Traffic Affairs and Operations Sector.
The campaign resulted in the issuance of 156 traffic citations for various types of offences, including speeding, in addition to the arrest of a person wanted by law.
The Ministry of Interior said similar intensive field campaigns will continue, emphasizing the importance of adhering to traffic laws to protect lives and property.
The MoI also called on drivers to cooperate with traffic officers to achieve the highest levels of road safety.
