Teacher caught red-handed in theft case, says ministry

The Ministry of Interior announced that the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations, through the Capital Governorate Investigation Department, successfully solved two unresolved cases. The breakthrough came with the arrest of a citizen employed as a teacher at the Ministry of Education, who was accused of theft. Authorities reportedly found sums of money linked to the thefts in her possession, according to Al Rai newspaper.
The ministry stated that the incident dates back to reports of an unidentified individual wandering inside a hospital, entering employees’ offices, and stealing personal belongings in their absence.
After conducting the necessary investigations using modern technical methods and tracking the suspect’s movements, it was revealed that the person accused of these thefts is a citizen working as a teacher in the Ministry of Education. Her location was identified, leading to her arrest, and she has been referred to the competent authorities for legal action.
