MOH, Central Agency boost electronic link to improve public services
- The Central Agency for Addressing the Status of Illegal Residents and the Ministry of Health are enhancing electronic data integration to improve service efficiency, support digital transformation, and accelerate access to government healthcare services.
The Central Agency for Addressing the Status of Illegal Residents and the Ministry of Health have agreed to strengthen electronic connectivity and improve data integration as part of Kuwait’s ongoing digital transformation strategy to enhance the efficiency of public services.
During a coordination meeting held on Tuesday, officials discussed mechanisms for organizing and updating the data of illegal residents within the Ministry of Health’s systems to ensure greater accuracy, integration and seamless information sharing between government entities.
The two sides also reviewed ways to enhance electronic connectivity and exchange data in line with international best practices, with the aim of accelerating government transactions, improving digital procedures and raising the quality of healthcare services provided to beneficiaries.
The meeting was chaired by Acting Secretary-General of the Central Agency, Brig. Gen. Dr. Sharif Al-Kandari, and attended by assistant secretaries and senior agency officials.
The Ministry of Health delegation was led by Assistant Undersecretary for Digital Health Affairs Eng. Adel Al-Rashidi, along with Director of Information Systems Eng. Khaled Al-Azmi and other ministry specialists.
Officials said the initiative reflects the government’s continued efforts to modernize public services through greater digital integration and more efficient data management across state institutions.
