239 residency violators, wanted persons arrested in security campaigns

The General Department of Residence Affairs Investigations announced 239 people were arrested during inspection campaigns carried out on Wednesday across various locations in the country.

The detainees included both residency violators and individuals wanted by authorities. According to the department, all necessary legal measures were taken against them, and they have been referred to the competent authorities for further investigation and legal action, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to continue such campaigns to uphold security, law enforcement, and public order.
