United States of America congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days
On behalf of the United States of America, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad Al Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled Al Sabah, and His Highness Prime Minister Ahmed al-Abdullah Al Sabah, and the people of Kuwait on the occasion of Kuwait’s 64th National Day and 34th Liberation Day.
These two days represent pivotal moments in Kuwait’s history. More than three decades ago, Kuwaiti, U.S., and Coalition forces worked together to liberate Kuwait, forging a partnership that has only grown stronger over time. We honor the courage and sacrifices of those who fought and gave their lives for the freedom and sovereignty of Kuwait.
The United States takes great pride in having led the coalition that came to Kuwait’s aid and remains committed to our steadfast partnership. In the decades since, our defense cooperation has endured and strengthened.
The United States deeply values our friendship with Kuwait and our shared commitment to peace and prosperity
I look forward to the celebrations during February, when Kuwaiti pride is visible in every home, on every building, and on every street.
