UIS excels at ‘26th CBSE Kuwait Cluster Athletic Meet 2024-25’

The United Indian School (UIS) announced its remarkable achievements at the 26th CBSE Kuwait Cluster Athletic Meet held on November 3rd to 5th, 2024, at Shabab Sports Club, Ahmadi.

A total of 52 enthusiastic participated, wherein UIS excelled by scoring 8 Gold, 18 Silver, and 13 Bronze medals, amassing an impressive total of 265 points, securing the Overall 2nd position in Kuwait.

UIS’s star athlete Anjana P Sajeev of XI G, showcased exceptional talent by winning 1st place in both the Under 17 Girls 800m and 1500m races along with a Gold medal in the 4x400m Relay and Silver in the 4x100m Relay, earning the title of ‘Individual Champion’.

Other notable performances included: Aathira Ratheesh of X B from the U-19 Girls category, secured Gold in the 800m and Silver in both the 400m and 4x100m Relays.

Celine Mary Aji of XI D competing in the U-17 Girls category won Gold in the 400m and 4x400m, along with Silver in the 4x100m and Bronze in the 200m. Jeremi Nanthiyattu Sam of XI D from the U-17 Boys category claimed Gold in the 400m, Silver in the 4x400m, and Bronze in the 4x100m.

Additional standout performances included: Alpha Susan George, from VIII I secured Gold in Shot Put for U-14 Girls, and Sean Cherin Jacob, IX G won Gold in the Javelin Throw for U-17 Boys.

The U-17 Girls team shone brightly with Abiya Susan Aneesh, VIII B winning Gold in the 4x400m Relay, and taking Silver in the High Jump and the 4x100m Relay.

Sanvi Shivananda, IX A won Gold in the 4x400m Relay and Silver in the 4x100m Relay. Manna Cherian Mathew, IX H secured Gold in the 4x400m Relay. Eshaan Ahmed, XI D in the U-17 Boys won Silver in the 800m and 1500m and in the 4x400m and Bronze in the 4x400m Relay. Hanah Sheafer, X I of the U-19 Girls achieved Silver in the 3000m and 1500m events.

Devika Vijayan, XI B of the U-19 Girls secured Silver in Triple Jump and 4x100m relay, and Bronze in High Jump.

Fion Sunil, VIII I of the U-14 Boys secured Silver in the 800m and Bronze in the 4x100m Relay. Vaiga Vijayan, IX A of the U-17 Girls won Silver in Shot Put. Nathan Byju Jose, X K of the U-19 Boys secured Silver in the 800m. Ahamed Ryan, XII A of the U-19 Boys won Silver in Shot Put. Lidiya Nijo , X K of the U-19 Girls secured Silver in Discus Throw.

Persis Mathew Joseph,VIII J achieved Silver in the 4x100m Relay and Bronze in the 100m.Helen Jomon ,VIII D secured Silver in the 4x100m Relay. Benita Mary Bintu, VII I obtained Silver in the 4x100m Relay. Joanne Liya Sojan, VIII B achieved Silver in the 4x100m Relay. Ann Maria James, VIII A secured Silver in the 4x100m Relay among U-14 Girls category.

Deva Subeesh, X G of the U-17 Girls won Silver in the 4x100m Relay. Josmy Susan Jose, XI A of the U-19 Girls secured Silver in the 4x100m Relay and bronze in Long Jump.

Helenah Elezabeth Cherian, XII A achieved Silver in the 4x100m Relay. Ameya Sreejith Pillai, VIII G secured Silver in the 4x100m Relay in the U-19 Girls category.

Neil Abraham Iype, XI D achieved Silver in the 4x100m Relay. Aaron George Koshy, XI I claimed Silver in the 4x100m Relay. Hashil Unus, XII A secured Silver in both the 4x100m and 4x400m Relays.

Alex Babu, VIII D achieved Silver in the 4x100m and 4x400m Relays, along with bronze in the 200m. Alen Behanan Jacob, IX G won Silver in the 4x100m and 4x400m Relays. Noyal Thomas, XII A secured Silver in the 4x400m Relay. Aman Ahmed Jaleel, X L achieved Silver in the 4x400m Relay in U-19 Boys Category.

Jude Reji Mathew, XI H secured Silver in the 4x400m Relay and bronze in the 4x100m Relay. Abel Reji Abraham,IX B achieved silver in the 4x400m relay, Jensen Vinu Pulimoottil ,IX F won Silver in the 4x400m Relay from the U-17 Boys category. Josna Jojo George, VIII J secured Bronze in Javelin Throw and Discus Throw from the U-17 Girls category.

Sherwin Biju Kallaparamabil, VIII F of the U-14 Boys achieved Bronze in both the 200m and 4x100m Relay. Aileen Maria Anish, XI D from the U-19 Girls secured Bronze in Shot Put. Aaron Peedikaayil Sanish, X B of the U-17 Boys achieved Bronze in the 4x100m Relay.

Aathish Alexy Thomas, XII A from the U-19 Boys secured Bronze in Triple Jump. Johaan Dennis of VII E, Shobal Bursouma Thomas of VII K and Johan Joji, VIII D secured Bronze in 4x100m Relay. Amal Salim Kumar, VIII C achieved Bronze in Shot Put in the U-14 Boys Category.
