Kuwait, Uzbekistan explore food security and economic cooperation
Minister of Commerce and Industry Osama Boodai held talks with the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Kuwait, H.E. Dr. Ayub Khan Yunusov, to explore ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of food security.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Commerce, the meeting focused on expanding commercial and economic relations between the two friendly countries in a way that serves mutual interests and supports sustainable development goals.
The two sides also reviewed opportunities to enhance trade exchange and develop broader economic partnerships across various sectors, reflecting Kuwait’s commitment to deepening its international economic ties and diversifying cooperation with global partners, reports Al-Rai daily.
