UIS celebrates annual day themed “Timeless Ties – A Journey of Bonding Through Time”

The United Indian School (UIS), Kuwait, held its vibrant Grade 1 Grand Annual Day Celebration, on January 29, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The event was an enchanting evening full of joy, energy, and captivating performances, all centered around this year’s theme, “Timeless Ties – A Journey of Bonding Through Time.”
The evening began with a heartfelt welcome address, extending warm greetings to esteemed guests, students, parents, and faculty members. The event was officially inaugurated by Mr. Anoop Kumar, Principal of New Gulf Indian School, Kuwait, who was honored as the Chief Guest.
Mr. Anoop Kumar’S inspiring speech set the stage for a truly memorable evening. The event also saw the presence of Senior Principal, Mr. Radhakrishnan C., Senior Vice Principal, Mrs. Mary Litty, Primary Vice Principal, Mrs. Reshmi Elizabeth, Kindergarten Head, Mrs. Anitha Somaraj, Mr. John Thomas (Purchase Manager), Heads of Departments (HODs), teachers, and support staff, adding to the significance of the celebration. The entire program was expertly hosted by Mrs. Simi Vivin, who kept the event flowing seamlessly and engagingly.

Mr. Jibu Mathew John, father of Hannah Elsa Jibu (Class 1 D), and Mrs. Suma Velayudhan, mother of Prithvi Balasubramanian (Class 1 A), expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the students’ remarkable performances. They also conveyed their sincere gratitude for the dedication and hard work of the faculty, acknowledging their tireless efforts in shaping the event’s success.
A special mention was made for Grade 1 Class Coordinator, Mrs. Rubina Parker, who played a pivotal role in organizing and coordinating the entire event.
