UAE-Kuwait non-oil trade surges 8% to reach to $13 billion in 2024

His Excellency Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, the Ambassador of the UAE to Kuwait, said the growth in non-oil trade reflects the strength of economic relations and the promising opportunities in both nations’ markets.

His Excellency Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, the Ambassador of the UAE to Kuwait, stated that mutual investments approached $5 billion as of 2022 figures, highlighting the pivotal role of the private sector in strengthening economic and investment partnerships.

Ambassador Al Neyadi emphasized that the ties between the two countries are historical, deep-rooted, and built on the foundations of brotherhood, cooperation, and a shared destiny.

 

His Excellency Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Kuwait, congratulated Kuwait’s leadership, government, and people on their national celebrations, Al Qabas reported.

Ambassador Al Neyadi said that the UAE, its government, and its people share Kuwait’s joy on this cherished occasion for both brotherly nations. He emphasized that the ties between the two countries are historical, deep-rooted, and built on the foundations of brotherhood, cooperation, and a shared destiny.

He added that “Our relationship continues to grow and flourish thanks to the care it receives from the wise leadership of both countries, fulfilling the aspirations of both governments to enhance cooperation and coordination across various sectors.”

He noted that non-oil trade between the two countries witnessed remarkable growth in 2024, reaching approximately 49 billion dirhams ($13 billion), an 8% increase from 2023. This, he said, reflects the strength of economic relations and the promising opportunities in both nations’ markets.

He further stated that mutual investments approached 20 billion dirhams ($5 billion) as of 2022 figures, highlighting the pivotal role of the private sector in strengthening economic and investment partnerships.
