‘Seet Harayer’ honors Kuwaiti women’s excellence and heritage

Under the patronage of Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, Noura Al-Fassam, Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, and Sheikha Amthal Al-Ahmad, President of the Kuwait Center for Voluntary Work, the “Seet Harayer” exhibition opened on Wednesday in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Sabah, the Governor of the Capital, reported Arabic daily Al Jarida.
Held at the Women’s Market in Mubarakiya Heritage Market, the exhibition celebrates Kuwaiti women’s creativity, showcasing their contributions bridging heritage and modernity.
Minister Al-Huwailah stated that the exhibition represents the journey of Kuwaiti women, who have emerged from their heritage to achieve excellence and leadership across various fields. She commended the significant role women play in advancing national development and highlighted that hosting this event at a historical site symbolizes Kuwaiti women’s deep connection to their roots and their commitment to building a future aligned with their ambitions.

Governor of the Capital calls for continued support to empower women for sustainable development and future success
Governor of the Capital, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Sabah, praised the exhibition for celebrating Kuwaiti women and their rich history. He highlighted their unwavering role in development and prosperity, stressing that they remain essential partners in the country’s growth.
Al-Ali added, “Kuwaiti women have been partners in the nation’s progress since ancient times. They are a source of pride and honor, and our heritage is filled with remarkable female role models who have left their mark across this generous nation.” He praised the traditional artistic performances and diverse booths, which showcased activities reflecting Kuwaiti national identity.
He emphasized that “this event is not just a celebration, but a journey into the past, ensuring Kuwaiti women remain a source of inspiration and our heritage remains immortal in future generations’ hearts.” He called for continued support to empower women for sustainable development and future success.
