The Qatari Ministry of Transport announced on Saturday the full resumption of maritime navigation activities for all types of vessels and ships, effective Sunday.
In a statement, the Ministry said the decision includes all vessels and ships, urging all seafarers and relevant authorities to adhere to applicable maritime regulations and instructions to ensure the highest levels of safety and security during sea voyages.
On July 20, the Ministry had announced the resumption of maritime navigation activities for all types of vessels and ships within a defined maritime zone of approximately seven nautical miles (13 kilometers) before deciding to fully resume them starting Sunday.
