Ka Baterya E-Scooter Kuwait, a newly formed Filipino group, promotes healthy lifestyle by riding safely around Kuwait streets to relieve daily work stress, creates awareness on safe health protocols via distribution of face masks and promote clean environment through use of electric scooters as a method of transportation.
In a brief interview with the group spokesperson Jeremy Redulla, stated that Ka Baterya E-Scooter Kuwait has been formed to create advocacies pertaining health and safety. “There have been numerous issues regarding use of scooters in the streets as concerns of safety for riders is at stake, however one the prime purpose of the team is educate its members road safety by adhering to traffic regulations” said Redulla. The group also extends its advocacy in promoting safe health protocols by giving out face masks to the public as far as Kuwait City, Fahaheel and other distant locations. The distribution occurs during the team’s regular rides every Saturday from 4 am till 7 am when traffic is lesser. Redulla added that travel distance often depends on the capacity of each scooter’s battery as some can only go as far as Kuwait Tower and of nearby locations.
The team also promotes the use of scooters as transportation to and from worksites, such saves money, time and encourages use of electric transportation for cleaner air and environment. The team now prepares to accredit its membership to the Embassy of the Philippines line up of organizations.
