
Kuwait’s real estate market recorded 153 property transactions worth a total of 92.8 million dinars (approximately $306 million) during the five-day period from July 5 to July 9, according to the latest statistics released by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice.
The figures show that the private residential sector continued to dominate market activity, accounting for 117 transactions valued at 51 million dinars (around $168 million). The investment property sector followed with 31 deals worth 25 million dinars (approximately $82.5 million), while the commercial sector registered four transactions totaling 16.2 million dinars (about $53 million).
Regionally, Al-Ahmadi Governorate recorded the highest level of activity, with 45 private residential transactions and 20 investment property deals, making it the most active governorate during the reporting period.
In the Capital Governorate, 13 private residential, two investment, and two commercial property transactions were completed. Hawalli registered 21 private residential and five investment deals, while Farwaniya recorded seven private residential, three investment, and one commercial transaction.
Meanwhile, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate saw 10 private residential transactions and one investment deal, while Al-Jahra Governorate registered 21 private residential transactions and one commercial property sale.
The latest figures underscore the continued strength of Kuwait’s residential property market, with private housing accounting for the bulk of both transaction volume and market activity during the week.
