Kuwaiti Armed Forces have intercepted hostile ballistic missiles and drones detected in the country's airspace since early Sunday, the Defense Ministry's official spokesperson Colonel Saud Al-Atwan said.

In a statement carried by the General Staff of the Army, Al-Atwan said the ongoing Iranian aggression continues to target civilian and vital facilities across the country, adding that attacks struck facilities belonging to the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, causing fires and extensive damage to several key installations.
He affirmed that the Armed Forces continue to carry out their duties with a high level of readiness and professionalism, taking all necessary measures in coordination with the relevant authorities to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, security and stability and ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
