“Information Ministry” unveils ‘Inspection Portal’ to modernize public reports and inquiries

The Ministry of Information, through the Press, Publishing, and Printing Sector, announced today, Tuesday, the launch of a new service called the ‘Inspection Portal’ on its website.

This initiative aims to streamline the process for citizens and residents to submit reports, inquiries, and suggestions, enhancing communication between the public and the Ministry.

The Assistant Undersecretary for Press, Publishing, and Publications at the Ministry, Lafi Al-Subaie, explained in a press statement that the new portal allows users to submit reports on violations related to books, films, concerts, or publications. It also facilitates inquiries regarding licensing conditions, registration procedures, or book disclosures.

To use the service, individuals can easily access the Ministry’s website, enter their civil number in the designated field, and authenticate their request through the ‘My Identity’ application.

Al-Subaie added that the portal provides a list of options for users to select the type of request they wish to submit, whether it be a report, inquiry, or suggestion. After making the selection, users are directed to a page where they can fill in the required information before submitting their request.

Additionally, Al-Subaie pointed out that this service aims to enhance communication between the Ministry and the public, offering direct and accessible channels for citizens and residents to benefit from its various services.
