IMA Ladies Wing to launch program on digital addiction awareness

To support families, the Indian Muslim Association Ladies Wing Kuwait will raise awareness about the effects of excessive gadget use on children.

Dr. Susovana Sujit Nair, a medical specialist, will share valuable insights on managing digital addiction and its effects on family dynamics. Both parents are encouraged to attend the event for maximum benefit.

Cell phone and internet de-addiction centers are emerging globally. Previously, parents were primarily concerned about their children’s careers and futures. However, with advancements in technology, even three-year-olds can adeptly navigate the internet and various apps, leaving parents torn between pride in their child’s accomplishments and worry about their screen time.

It is more important than ever for parents to understand how to set healthy boundaries around children’s screen time and device usage.

To help families navigate these challenges, the Indian Muslim Association (IMA) Ladies Wing Kuwait is organizing a special program designed to raise awareness about the impact of excessive gadget use on children.

This event will be led by Dr. Susovana Sujit Nair, a medical specialist, who will share valuable insights on managing digital addiction and its effects on family dynamics. Both parents are encouraged to attend for maximum benefit.

The event will feature insights from a leading expert in the field, practical tips for implementation, and an interactive Q&A session to address any questions.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 28, at 3:45 PM at Al Najat Typical Private School, MangafBlock 3. For directions, click here.
