Indian Learners’ Own Academy (ILOA) held its Annual School Election for the 2025-26 session, closely mirroring the national electoral process. From nomination filings to spirited campaigns and electronic voting, students engaged in every phase, gaining hands-on experience in democratic participation.

The election saw candidates vying for 12 key leadership roles, including President, Head Boy/Girl, Vice Head Boy/Girl, and Sports Captains. The process began a month earlier, with nominees selected by Vice Principals based on academic performance, co-curricular involvement, personal initiative, and leadership potential. Final voting took place on campus through a secure e-ballot system.

The vibrant spirit of democracy recently unfurled its wings at ILOA as the much-awaited Student Democratic Club elections commenced on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

The elections marked a pivotal event for students in Classes 6 through 12, who voted for their leaders using electronic voting systems, simulating real-world electoral processes. This initiative aimed to foster civic engagement and electoral literacy among students, aligning with national efforts to promote democratic values in educational institutions.

The following well-deserving students emerged victorious in their campaigns and were elected to the Student Democratic Club through majority votes.
