ICAI Kuwait Chapter Hosts Claude AI Webinar for Finance Professionals
Over 280 members participate in session on AI-driven accounting, reporting, and financial automation

The Kuwait Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) recently conducted a highly engaging webinar on ‘Unlocking the Power of Claude AI in Accounting & Reporting’, witnessing strong participation from over 280 members across Kuwait.

The session was formally commenced by CA Umesh Soni, who hosted the event and set the context for the evening. This was followed by a welcome address by Chairperson CA Rohit Agarwal, who highlighted the increasing relevance of digital transformation and emphasized the need for finance professionals to embrace AI-driven tools in today’s evolving business environment.
An introduction of the speaker was delivered by Committee Member CA Sonia Titus, who warmly welcomed the guest speaker and outlined his professional achievements and expertise in the field of AI and finance.

The core session was delivered by CA Harpreet Singh, Vice President at The Royal Bank of Scotland from India, who presented an insightful and practical walkthrough on Claude AI. He elaborated on its fundamentals and capabilities, demonstrated real-world applications in accounting and financial reporting, and shared use cases focused on automation, advanced analysis, and productivity enhancement. The session was particularly well received for its practical orientation, enabling participants to directly relate AI concepts to their day-to-day finance roles.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Committee Member CA Joseph Peter, who expressed sincere appreciation to the speaker for his valuable insights and to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement.
