Garje Marathi Kuwait Chapter celebrates 10th GMG anniversary
The Garje Marathi Kuwait Chapter (GMKC) celebrated the 10th anniversary of Garje Marathi Global (GMG), a US-based non-profit organization, with a commemorative gathering of its Steering Committee members on July 24, 2026.
The event highlighted the chapter’s continued efforts to strengthen professional, business, educational, and community connections between Maharashtra, India, and Kuwait.
Established in June 2020, the GMG Kuwait Chapter has grown into an active online network of more than 300 members, bringing together professionals, entrepreneurs, and members of the Marathi community through social media platforms, webinars, networking events, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Reflecting on the chapter’s six-year journey, Steering Committee members highlighted key achievements and success stories from various programs and webinars focused on education, trade, entrepreneurship, and business collaboration.
During the gathering, GMG Kuwait Chapter Founder Raghav C. Sadekar presented the chapter’s vision, mission, and future roadmap while discussing upcoming opportunities and challenges.
“As Garje Marathi Global enters its second decade, our vision is to build a vibrant platform that connects entrepreneurs, professionals, innovators, and institutions between Maharashtra, India, and Kuwait,” Sadekar said. “Through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and community service, we aspire to create lasting value and meaningful opportunities for both regions.”
Representatives from various professional fields also shared insights into Kuwait’s evolving market environment and opportunities for future collaboration.
Sheetal Palkar and Mrs. Papori Palkar, representing the Human Resources sector, emphasized the importance of developing strong professional networks, enhancing leadership skills, and encouraging institutional and business partnerships between India and Kuwait.
Satish Deshpande discussed opportunities in academics, including educational partnerships, knowledge exchange, and professional development.
Sanjay Bade highlighted developments in the automotive sector and potential areas for cooperation, while Vijay Naik spoke about opportunities in industrial medical and healthcare sectors, stressing the importance of long-term professional partnerships.
Rohit Kulkarni shared perspectives on information technology, digital transformation, and the growing role of emerging technologies in supporting businesses across the region.
With continued support from members, well-wishers, and stakeholders in India, Kuwait, and the United States, the GMG Kuwait Chapter reaffirmed its commitment to serving as a bridge between Maharashtra and Kuwait’s Marathi community by promoting entrepreneurship, professional networking, innovation, knowledge exchange, and sustainable partnerships.
