Six citizenship decrees issued revoking nationality of 25 individuals

Kuwait has published six decrees concerning the withdrawal and revocation of Kuwaiti citizenship from 25 people. The decrees have been published on Wednesday in a special supplement of the official gazette Kuwait Alyawm.

The decrees were issued in accordance with the provisions of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 concerning the Kuwaiti Nationality Law and its amendments.

The first decree stipulates the withdrawal of citizenship certificates from six individuals, as well as from those who acquired citizenship through dependency.

The second decree ordered the withdrawal of citizenship from two individuals and their dependents, while the third decree involved the withdrawal of citizenship from one individual.

The fourth decree stipulates the withdrawal of citizenship from nine individuals and those who obtained citizenship through dependency.

The fifth decree ordered the withdrawal of a citizenship certificate from one individual and those who acquired citizenship through dependency, based on Article 21 bis (A) of the Kuwaiti Nationality Law.

The sixth decree stipulated the revocation of Kuwaiti citizenship from six individuals under the provisions of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 and its amendments.

The names listed under the sixth decree are:

  • Hussein Abdullah Maatouq Ali Al-Maatouq
  • Abdulaziz Khalid Abdulwahab Ismail Ali Al-Foudari
  • Lulwa Nasser Abdullah Abdulwahab Al-Hussainan
  • Muhammad Badr Abdullah Saleh Muhammad Al-Matar
  • Abdullah Mohammed Abdullah Abdulwahab Al-Saleh
  • Mansour Ahmed Hamoud Al-Muharib Al-Hamoud
