Sand removed from Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah Road in Jahra to ensure road safety

Field monitoring teams in Jahra have overseen the removal of sand accumulated on the Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah Road in Jahra to ensure it does not affect the traffic flow or endanger the lives of motorists because sand accumulation can lead to road accidents.
Acting on the directives of Jahra Governor and Acting Governor of Farwaniya Hamad Al-Habashi, the General Office of the Jahra Governorate’s field monitoring team was tasked to identify areas where sand had accumulated as a result of blowing winds.
The team coordinated with Engineer Fahd Al-Ajmi, a member of the Jahra Governorate Council and representative of the Ministry of Public Works. Al-Ajmi followed up with the ministry’s General Department of Roads Sector Affairs, which responded by removing the accumulated sand and reopening the road.
The governorate said the action helped restore smooth traffic movement and improve road safety. The field monitoring team will continue its inspections across the governorate and coordinate directly with the relevant authorities to ensure that reported issues are addressed promptly and services are improved.
