FAIPS-DPS students earn top honours at HMUN India 2026

Students of Fahaheel Al-Watanieh Indian Private School (FAIPS-DPS) have secured several honours at the 16th session of Harvard Model United Nations India (HMUN India), held in Bengaluru from August 13 to 16.

The four-day conference brought together high-school students from across India for intensive debates, negotiations and discussions on international issues, providing participants with an opportunity to develop their skills in diplomacy, research, public speaking and collaborative problem-solving.

A 13-member delegation from FAIPS-DPS represented the school at the conference and delivered a strong performance across the proceedings. Aibel Pamplany and Harsh Wankhade secured the ‘Best Delegation Award’, while Aydin Usman and Aadil Ansari were recognised with the ‘Outstanding Delegation Award’. Shlok Patel, Yaseen Nissar, and Kaavya Garg received ‘Diplomatic Commendations’.

The recognitions add to FAIPS-DPS’s strong track record at HMUN India, where its students have consistently competed at a high level against delegates from schools across the country and abroad.

The latest achievement reflects the students’ extensive preparation and their ability to articulate positions, negotiate effectively and engage constructively on complex global issues.

The school congratulated all 13 delegates on their performance and on representing FAIPS-DPS with distinction at the international-level student conference.
