Paid-up capital set at 8.3 million dinars, with 50 percent allocated to Kuwaiti citizens

Kuwait has established the Kuwait Digital Network Company as a Kuwaiti public shareholding company, with authorised and issued capital of 33.191 million dinars, under a decision issued by the Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment and Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry, Abdulaziz Al-Marzouq.

Resolution No. 185 of 2026, published by the official gazetter Kuwait Alyawm, sets the company’s paid-up capital at approximately 8.298 million dinars. Under the approved ownership structure, 10 percent of the paid-up capital will be allocated to the Public-Private Partnership Authority on behalf of public entities.

Batelco Kuwait Fiber Holding Company will hold 40 percent, while the remaining 50 percent will be held by the Public-Private Partnership Authority on behalf of Kuwaiti citizens. The structure places the largest share of the company’s paid-up capital on behalf of Kuwaiti citizens, alongside participation from a private-sector investor and public entities.

The establishment of Kuwait Digital Network as a public shareholding company sets out a defined ownership and capital structure for the company under Resolution No. 185 of 2026.
