“Education Ministry” initiates preventive measures to negate violations before exams

The Ministry of Education, inspired by the proverb “Prepare the medicine before the attack,” has initiated practical measures to prevent negative phenomena during the first-semester exams.

These measures target transfer classes scheduled next month and twelfth-grade students in January 2025, in coordination with relevant authorities from other ministries.

In this context and in line with the directives from the Minister of Education, Jalal Al-Tabtabaei; Acting Undersecretary, Mansour Al-Daihani, held a meeting with officials from the Ministries of Interior, Endowments, and Information, to coordinate preparations for the first-semester exams.

Furthermore, in the meeting it was also discussed about a comprehensive coordination plan, between the Ministry of Education and other authorities to tackle negative phenomena and enforce the examination violations list.

What’s more is that during the meeting, it was reviewed about the field measures by the Ministry of Interior to enforce laws against entities and individuals operating websites and suspicious social media accounts undermining educational integrity, alongside legal mechanisms to protect the educational process under applicable legislation.

In the meeting it was discussed about practical steps that the Ministry of Education, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, will take to ensure the security of transporting exam papers from secret printing presses, as well as the movement of answer sheets to and from exam committees.

It also covered necessary security measures to protect committee headquarters and regulate traffic and vehicle movement around schools to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of exams.

The meeting was attended by: Maryam Al-Anzi, First Deputy for Examinations, Literary and Religious Education Department; Mansour Al-Dhafiri, First Deputy for Examinations, Scientific Department; Mahmoud Abdul-Ridha, Administrative Supervisor of the Literary Control; Faraj Nafaa, Administrative Supervisor of the Scientific Control; and Arwa Al-Ayyar, Director of the Public Relations and Educational Media Department.

The Ministry of Interior was represented by: Brigadier Suleiman Al-Subaie, Director of Operations from the General Traffic Department; Colonel Faisal Al-Daihani, Director of Public Relations; Colonel Salman Bahman, Assistant Director of Public Relations; Lieutenant Colonel Nasser Al-Hajri, representing the Department of Combating Electronic Crimes; and Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Al-Otaibi, representing the Department of Combating Financial Crimes. Bader Al-Dhafiri attended from the Ministry of Endowments, and Bader Al-Da’i, Director of Cultural Programs, represented the Ministry of Information.
