Business councils in Kuwait come together for their Annual Inter-Council summer dinner

Kuwait’s international business community gathered Thursday night for the annual Inter-Council Summer Dinner, an evening that blended diplomacy, commerce, and conviviality at the Grand Hyatt Kuwait.

The event, a fixture on the city’s business calendar, was organized by a coalition of councils and forums, including the American Business Council – AmCham Kuwait, the British Business Forum, Canadians in Kuwait, the German Business Council, the Indian Business and Professional Council, the Lebanese Business Council, and the Portuguese Business Council Kuwait.

Guests, from seasoned executives to emerging entrepreneurs, mingled over dinner in a setting crafted for both conversation and cuisine, exchanging ideas, forging new connections, and rekindling old ones. The event underscored the enduring value of face-to-face interaction in today’s interconnected economy, serving not only as a social gathering but also as a strategic platform championed by the councils to strengthen cross-cultural and cross-sector ties in Kuwait’s diverse commercial landscape, fostering partnerships that extend well beyond a single evening.

A raffle added a celebratory note, with winners getting gift vouchers to luxury hotel stays.

Now in its latest edition, the Inter-Council Summer Dinner has cemented itself as a rare intersection of community and commerce, one that, for a few hours each summer, turns the business of networking into an occasion worth savoring.
