The acting director of the Meteorological Department, Darrar Al-Ali, announced the weather conditions in Kuwait are expected to improve by Thursday evening, following a day marked by scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity and winds exceeding 45 km/h.
Al-Ali explained the “weather maps, pressure patterns, and numerical forecast models show that the country has been under the influence of a surface low-pressure system accompanied by a warm, humid air mass.
This coincided with an upper-air low carrying a cold air mass, resulting in widespread low and medium clouds, with cumulonimbus formations in between.”
He added that conditions will gradually stabilize starting Thursday evening, with clouds dispersing and chances of rain diminishing.
