Kuwait and Saudi Arabia: H.H. the Amir reaffirms ‘deep-rooted’ ties on National Day
Sheikh Mishal highlights historic bonds, Saudi Arabia’s development and its regional and international standing
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the Kingdom’s National Day reaffirming Kuwait’s deep ties with Saudi Arabia. In his message, Sheikh Mishal highlighted the deep-rooted fraternal relations between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and the close bonds between their two peoples.
H.H. the Amir also praised Saudi Arabia’s positions on issues concerning the Arab and Islamic nations, as well as its support for Kuwait and its people. Sheikh Mishal expressed pride in the Kingdom’s development and civilisational achievements during the reign of King Salman, noting the progress that has reinforced Saudi Arabia’s regional and international standing.
He also underscored the importance of the Kingdom’s continued security, prosperity and development under King Salman’s leadership and with the support of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheilh Mohammed bin Salman.
H.H. the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and H.H. the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah also sent congratulatory cables to King Salman on the occasion. The messages reaffirmed Kuwait’s close and longstanding relationship with Saudi Arabia, reflecting the strength of ties between the two neighbouring countries and their continued cooperation.
Kuwait congratulates Mali
Separately, H.H. the Amir sent a congratulatory cable to General Assimi Goïta, President of the Transitional Phase and Head of State of the Republic of Mali, on the occasion of Mali’s Independence Day.
Sheikh Mishal conveyed his congratulations and wished General Goïta continued health and wellbeing, and Mali and its people further progress and prosperity.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister also sent congratulatory cables to General Goïta on the occasion of Mali’s Independence Day.
