H.H. the Amir and Sultan of Oman review bilateral ties, key issues

The two leaders discussed the strong fraternal relations between their countries and peoples, along with regional and international developments and other issues of mutual interest.

  • His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, expressing his sincere sympathy on the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Abta bint Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace following his official visits to the United Kingdom and the United States. The Crown Prince headed Kuwait’s delegation to the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Al Anba newspaper reported.

The Amir also received a phone call from his brother, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman. The two leaders discussed the strong fraternal ties between their countries and peoples, along with regional and international developments and other issues of mutual interest.

His Highness the Amir thanked his brother, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, for his fraternal communication, which reflects the depth of relations between the two countries and their peoples.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir sent a cable of condolences to his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing his sincere sympathy on the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Abta bint Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud. He prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow mercy and forgiveness upon her soul, grant her a place in Paradise, and inspire the royal family with patience and solace.

His Highness the Amir also sent a cable of congratulations to President Duma Gideon Boku of the Republic of Botswana on the occasion of his country’s National Day, wishing him good health and for Botswana and its people continued progress and prosperity.
