Vehicle plows into crowd in Los Angeles, over 20 injured

A vehicle rammed into a crowd in East Hollywood late Saturday, leaving more than 20 people injured, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

Emergency officials reported that up to five victims are in critical condition, eight to ten others are seriously hurt, and another 10 to 15 are in fair condition. The incident occurred near a popular nightspot, where a taco cart was also struck.

Preliminary reports suggest the driver may have lost consciousness before veering into the food vendor and crashing into a large gathering outside a club. Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
