Kuwait calls on entrepreneurs to help shape national events, cultural activities with new ideas

- Committee seeks private-sector initiatives to promote national identity, boost domestic tourism and create more engaging cultural and entertainment experiences
Kuwait is inviting entrepreneurs, private-sector businesses and owners of national projects to submit innovative ideas for national celebrations and public events, as the government seeks to broaden community participation, support local talent and strengthen the country’s cultural and tourism offerings.
The Standing Committee for Celebrating National Holidays and Organizing Events, chaired by Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology and Acting Minister of Information and Culture Omar Al-Omar, announced that it is accepting initiatives and proposals from individuals, businesses and institutions interested in contributing to national programs and activities.
The committee said the initiative reflects its commitment to building stronger partnerships between the public and private sectors and tapping into creative ideas that showcase Kuwait’s national identity, cultural heritage and history while appealing to different segments of society.
Its work extends throughout the year, with particular attention to cultural, tourism and entertainment initiatives that can help stimulate domestic tourism and create opportunities for national entrepreneurs, project owners and talented individuals to present new experiences.
The committee said submitted proposals would be reviewed and assessed according to their objectives, nature and suitability for national programs. Priority would be given to serious and practical ideas that could diversify activities, introduce fresh experiences and enhance the appeal of national celebrations, subject to applicable regulatory and technical requirements.
Entities, institutions and individuals interested in participating have been invited to submit their proposals through the QR code provided in the committee’s announcement, making the process accessible to a broad range of participants.
The committee stressed that the success of national celebrations and public events depends on shared responsibility and cooperation among different sectors. It said supporting outstanding initiatives would help renew event programming, encourage public engagement and reinforce pride in Kuwait’s national identity and heritage.
