The Civil Service Bureau is enhancing its website to support the registration of 7,000 new job seekers as it prepares for the 88th employment period, starting September 6 and lasting 14 days, sources told Al-Anba newspaper.
Sources explained that while the technical preparations are excellent, as a precaution, they are addressing the overlap between the registration of about 6,000 job seekers and 1,000 citizens with intermediate and secondary school certificates. This overlap occurs during the six-day period when job seeker registration continues until September 20, while registration for certificate holders begins on September 15.
In response to the request from intermediate and secondary school certificate holders for a final registration deadline, the sources stated that the end date will be determined soon.
Other sources requested clarification on the outcomes of the training plan, which includes 2,000 citizens with intermediate and secondary school certificates. They asked if there would be salary differences if these individuals are nominated and appointed to the same job, and urged addressing this issue to prevent any future repercussions.
They also inquired about the benefits of the course in terms of allowances or job title, and whether the course will be included in the central employment system for those concerned, given that its duration does not exceed one month.
The sources stressed the importance of clarifying the budget for the training plan, whether it will come from the Civil Service Bureau’s budget or from the budgets of government agencies. They noted that the Civil Service Bureau’s training budget has been approved and, based on this, the bureau announced the training program for the upcoming season to avoid any disagreements about budget responsibilities.
